Mabry

Mabry is the 3rd of 4 siblings in her family. She is the aunt to one nephew, Lewie, who is one! She has a pet bearded dragon named Zbornak (she’s named after Dorothy Zbornak of The Golden Girls). Mabry was born outside of Austin and grew up in Cypress, Texas. She been jumping around North Texas since December of 2017. When Mabry is not fulfilling her student roll, she is completing Schoolwork for The Association of Texas Midwives Midwifery Training School. She enjoys exploring new coffee shops to find the best homework spot, spending time with family, game nights, spending time outside, going to drive in movies, and baking with her sourdough starter. She’s an avid researcher and loves learning about new topics. Maybe live to eat anywhere! She loves trying new things, especially when they come recommended. She also appreciates a free meal or anything with good company. Mabry started working as a mother’s helper at 8 years old and has babysat ever since. She nannied every summer through middle and high school and was a full time nannie for 3 years before starting her apprenticeship. Mabry loves babywearing! Recently Mabry has become a Placenta Encapsulator. Mabry has always known I’d be a birth worker. In preschool her favorite tv show was “A Baby Story”. She loved caring for babies and listening to birth stories even as a child. When she was in middle school, a friend’s mom told her she should consider being a doula. As she researched becoming a doula, that quickly led to midwifery and natural birth videos. Mabry was instantly hooked and knew that this was the work she was made to do. The intricate design of pregnancy and birth reaffirms her faith above all else. Mabry started midwifery school in July of 2020, and her apprenticeship in February of 2021. Mabry counts it as an honor to be a part of her client’s stories. She loves educating and empowering families as they make their first parenting decisions. What she finds unique about the care that All About Babies gives is the attachment to the families throughout their care as well as the many resources that are offered postpartum. She loves that clients come back for the breastfeeding support group, to see the chiropractor, and the All About Babies annual parties!
